Located just a short drive from the Twelve Apostles and Great Ocean Road, Apostle Whey Cheese is a great spot to sample an unforgettable wedge of country life. It is the home of award-winning, delectable hand-made cheeses, prepared on a family farm from pure milk produced by contented herd of Jerseys and Friesians.
All cheeses are handmade and have a unique and distinctive personality. Milk is sourced from a single herd in order to reflect the harsh climate of the Great Ocean road. Everything is done by hand, from skimming to moulding, and every batch, every cheese receive special attention.
The Austins & Co. vineyard is located in Geelong’s Moorabool Valley sub-region, nestled between Geelong and Ballarat. Steeped in history – some 20,000 years ago the Moorabool Valley sat on the bottom of the sea, only to be reclaimed as land by millennia of volcanic activity. The legacy is the tough limestone and basalt base which forms this sub-region’s unique terroir.
Thei small batch vineyard was established in 2000 and they began producing under their own label in 2006. Grapes are their passion and their wines represent excellent drinkability and an uncompromising representation of our unique maritime cool climate patch that we love so much.
Baie Wines is a true family owned and operated winery – from picking the grapes to selling the wine – the Kuc family does it all, and they wouldn’t have it any other way.
Banks Road Wines
In 2008, the vines at Banks Road produced their first vintage. Since then, another eight and a half acres of vines have been planted and the varieties have increased. Banks Road vineyard now grows Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, with thirteen and a half acres under vine.
His vision was to create a vineyard which would produce Australian wine of a quality to emulate the great wines of France, in particular the great Burgundies. Stuart Hooper had a purist, uncompromising approach to quality grape growing and winemaking. He had a strong belief in making wines which genuinely reflect the flavours of the vineyard. Although Stuart has since passed away, Bannockburn Vineyards remains in the Hooper family and his philosophy remains as the cornerstone behind all we do at Bannockburn today.

Becks honey based in Drysdale, they produce local honey from the Bellarine and source popular high quality honeys from beekeepers around Victoria and Tasmania.

The honey is infused with the world’s finest organic plant oils, known for their therapeutic qualities to uplift, relax or renew. Also, it’s not heated beyond hive temperatures!

Bellbrae Estate Winery was established in 1999 on a beautiful section of rolling hills, five minutes from world famous Bells Beach, in the Surf Coast region of Victoria.Originally planted to grapes around 150 years ago by Swiss settlers, at one stage the area from Bellbrae to Geelong and beyond was one of Australia’s largest wine growing regions. For most of the 20th century, however, the land had reverted to grazing but the wonderful climate and the enticing north facing slopes led us to plant the first vineyards here for over 100 years – better late than never!

Brown Magpie Wines
Brown Magpie Wines is nestled into the hinterland of the Otway Ranges. The grapes are wholly estate grown, hand-picked and processed within hours of harvesting. Camilo Olive Oil
Camilo is a premier producer of Australian extra virgin olive oil and artisan food products. Founded in 2002 by Joan & Peter McGovern, when they planted their first olive trees on the flat plains between the reserve and the river valley. The grove quickly expanded to 12 hectares of Taggiasca, Koroneiki, Pendolino, Kalamata and Corregiola trees. The location provides a great climate, position and soil for growing premium quality olives.

Crowes Nest Brewery
First established in 1911, the Crowes Railway Station once provided a critical link to and from Lavers Hill to life outside the Otways. Up to seven steam trains a day transported loads of timber, potatoes and firewood to Colac and beyond. In1962, the Beechy line closed down, however, till this day Crowes remains perched up in the nest of the Otways, with its surrounding region producing prime meat, sustainable timber and some bloody good beer.
Curlewis winery specialises in Burgundian-style Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays and Rhone-style Syrah (Shiraz). The winemaking specifics can vary from year to year to adjust to the variations in vintage. Their objective is to maintain continuity of style in preference to reflecting vintage variations.
All of their wine is basket-pressed and cold soaking, hot fermentation and post maceration are some of the techniques employed in the winery. Fermentation is allowed to occur naturally on the wild yeasts from the vineyard. Their Pinot Noir spends up to 18 months on coarse lees in new and old French barriques. The wine is unfined and unfiltered at bottling.

Farr Rising Wines

Gosling Creek Wine

La Madre Bakery
La Madre Bakery scours the land for the finest ingredients using freshly milled flours, filtered water, pure sea salt and natural air borne yeast. Where possible, they use tasty local heroes like the Kalamata olives in our Olive Sourdough, sourced right here in Victoria from the wonderful Mount Zero. Lana’s Garden is based in Warrnambool and 90% of the rhubarb in their products is grown in their back yard. Currently there are four products in Lana’s Garden range of rhubarb preserves. Rhubarb and Raspberry Jam, Rhubarb Relish, Rhubarb Coulis and a savoury Rhubarb Sauce. Lana’s Garden products are handmade in small batches, each batch is individual in colour depending on the varieties used. All products are gluten free and do not contain artificial colours, artificial flavours or artificial preservatives.

The core philosophies of Mahalia Coffee are the pursuit of perfection and variety in flavour through the natural intrinsic flavours of coffee. They use no artificial flavour enhancers or additions. Each coffee origin used in their blends is chosen for its own integral flavour qualities and sourced from the entire global coffee farm.
Manzanillo Grove, is a biodynamtic grove with over 4500 olive trees and 7 different varieties, is owned and operated by the Kint Family. The Bellarine Peninsula and their Olives in particular have a distinctive flavour that is much sought after by discerning buyers.
Manzanillo Olive Oil is not heat extracted at any stage of production and therefore is of the highest quality and has a flavour unique to their grove.
Marcus Hill Wine
Their intention is to grow premium quality grapes in an environment where natural balance is encouraged.
The vineyard is part of a small farm with substantial plantings of indigenous trees and shrubs which are home to a wide variety of birds and other creatures which provide natural pest control for the vines – no pesticides are required. The vines receive minimal watering and a variety of natural fertilisers are used to encourage soil and plant health.
Mason’s Creek Olive Oil
Their focus is on small volume production of superior extra virgin olive oil, using sustainable growing approaches that ensure excellent quality whilst protecting our environment. What differentiates them from most other growers is that their trees are dry-grown. That means that they do not irrigate, so the trees survive on whatever natural rainfall there is. This usually means the trees yield less fruit, but they believe that is more than compensated for by the concentration of flavour and improved quality.
Russell and Jan McGlashan began establishment of their 10 hectare vineyard at 225 Swan Bay Road, Wallington in 1995. Four varieties are now planted including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Shiraz. Seven wines are produced including a lightly wooded Chardonnay, a Sparkling Chardonnay/Pinot Noir and a Rosé.
The sandy loam over buck shot clay provides the perfect soil structure for production of their premium cool climate wines. Winemaker, Robin Brocket uses French Oak to mature the wines for twelve months prior to bottling.
Mermerus Vineyard was established in 1996, and occupies part of the eastern slope of Murradoc Hill on the Bellarine peninsula.
Production is centred in their on-site winery and grapes are sourced mainly from the estate, with a small amount of fruit from local vineyards being used in some years.

Moorabool Valley Chocolate began in May 2005, operating from a farmhouse kitchen built in the 1920s. That was soon outgrown, and a bedroom at the front of the house was converted into a commercial kitchen.
Owner and chocolatier, Lynne Meek, is responsible for the planning and creation of the chocolate range and cafe items. She learned her craft at the Melbourne’s prestigious Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School, where chocolatiers from all over our region receive their training. Our team of chocolatiers takes pride in bringing you custom-made, unique chocolate creations.

Otway Pasta Company is a small boutique pasta manufacturer located in the Otway Region of Victoria. There pasta truely stands out, because they only use “true” Free Range local Eggs and a special blend of Durum Wheat Semolina, “00” White Flour and Organic Khorasan Flour. These flours are the highest quality available in Australia. Khorasan is an “ancient’ grain and imparts a wonderful flavour and texture to the pasta. The pasta is manufactured using an authentic Italian process on a machine that was imported from Italy over 30 years ago.

Our most popular craft beer! After many years of research (and many samples of beer) the decision was made Prickly Moses was born. Blessed with the availability of pure Otway rainwater, Prickly Moses brew all of their beers with this ‘gift from the gods’. It is well known that you need good water to make good beer and there’s nothing better than water from the lush rainforest. The beers are prickly by name…smooth by nature.
Ravens Creek Farm
Ravens Creek Farm are owned by the Findlays. Over the past seven years, they have been redeveloping the 90 acre property. In this time they have converted a humble beef farm providing minimal income, into a biodiverse, naturally regenerating environment with a wide variety of stacked enterprises.
Raspberries and a range of brambleberries were planted at Ravens Creek Farm in September 2011. The berries are now available to pick your own in December and January every year.

Tanybryn Park Limousins
At Tanybryn Park Limousins they aim to breed docile, easy calving, polled animals with good structure, suited to a variety of purposes. They also make sure they assess the animals when they have good structure and muscles. All the limousins they breed are tested for a variety of genetic markers – the double muscling gene, horned/poll status, disease carrier status, colour etc. Bulls are semen tested before sale and all animals are vaccinated to give them the best start possible.

Timboon Railway Shed Distillery
The whisky they make at the Timboon Railway Shed Distillery is a single malt whisky, distilled in a pot still, using malted barley as the only grain ingredient. The inspirations are the great single malts of Scotland and the Isles, so it’s only natural that the whisky is made to the same time honoured traditions.
Their vision at WesEggs is to be a family owned producer and purveyor of genuine and true, pasture raised free range eggs. To be an industry leader, that is economically successful and socially responsible, by using sustainable and regenerative farming methods.
Their ladies do not have trimmed beaks or clipped wings. WesEggs hens have the freedom to exhibit their natural behaviour of scratching and foraging for insects, wings flapping and dust bathing. A natural high protein diet, not only improves the health and happiness of the hen, but also the egg quality.

At Wildings Pantry Essentials, they are one of the few producers that still passionately make everything by hand in their kitchen at St Leonards, on the Bellarine Peninsula of Victoria.
All their products have been cleverly designed and crafted to provide versatility yet are brilliant in their simplicity.
Wirruna Park started out as a nursery in the 1960’s, and later became very well known for its magnificent gardens. Wirruna became a popular destination for weddings, concerts and even TV programmes. Sadly the nursery fell on hard times and closed in 2007. The property was bought by Katharine and Richard Rahdon in 2008, and the restoration began. Their vineyard of only 1 acre was planted in 2009 using 5 year-old transplanted Pinot Gris from nearby Portarlington. Remarkably 2012 was the vineyard’s first vintage, and it took the Geelong Wine Show by storm. Their winemaker is Will Derham, from Banks Road Winery.
The quality of the livestock of Woodlands Wild is exceptional. They combine organic and traditional farming for free range livestock care, improved land care, environmentally friendly food yield, and efficient stewardship of resources.
